He has led leadership courses for the Wharton School's MBA Program and the University of Florida.
Martin has served as a keynote speaker for many corporations, expanding and clarifying the role of the consummate professional, including management, to become proactive, as opposed to reactive. Martin has led programs for tens of thousands of women and men on "breaking the code" and “gender balancing”. His style and delivery has caused consistent breakthroughs in deeply understanding the differences among women and men.
Katie Bell is currently Managing Director at the Advisory Board Company, a healthcare research consulting company.
Prior to joining the Advisory Board Company, Katie was a Partner with Gallup. Katie led Gallup’s well-being initiatives, including the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index whichshe co-founded in 2007. This transformational endeavor has created a database of health and well-being data that provides government, business, and healthcare leaders with consistent metrics to measure the health, wellness, and prevention needs of the U.S. population. This work has expanded to the United Kingdom and Germany. Katie joined Gallup in 2005 as a Healthcare Practice Partner. She brought to Gallup 12 years’ experience in consulting with healthcare leaders on productivity, employee engagement, succession planning, patient loyalty, and nurse recruitment and retention.
Before Gallup, Katie worked as a healthcare consultant for The Advisory Board Company as well as healthcare practice leader for a publicly held human capital management consulting firm. While with both firms, she regularly advised executives and management groups in the areas of strategic planning, change management, and organizational development.
Katie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors of Science in Business and Education. She has completed Executive Education coursework at Harvard University in Cambridge. Ms. Bell speaks globally on the topic of strategic leadership and well-being and makes appearances on local and national media programs; including the Dr. Oz radio show. Ms. Bell lives in Atlanta where she actively volunteers in the community, promoting such projects as the interpark link, an important effort to encourage greater enjoyment and participation of local parks and the outdoors.
